The Fox is in the Chicken Soup

the fox is
in the chicken soup
mingling with the vegetables,
engrossed by a carrot.

madness strikes him
as he finds
there is no chicken,
there is just soup.
ending his days as he
runs out of air.
sinking. drowning. dying.

now he's in heaven, hungrier than ever.
oh, such big feathers on those men, he thought.
the veggie diet he suffered he forgot, as he feasted on angels.
Partly inspired by Rhys and his deep poem, where I managed to get this line wrong; 'the fox is in the chicken coop' - having very tired eyes as I read it.
Feel free to go search for deeper hidden meanings, as there are some.
Please don't be offended by this poem.

Waaaaaaaaaah! LOVE IT!
Although, first question (which I'm sure you'll be able to predict) why no capitals huh?! Haha!
The only deeper meaning I got was the fox not finding any chicken being a metaphor for life - people searching for something that's not there, or being let down when they find that real life doesn't meet their expectations and so they just have to live on in this life that they're disenchanted with, waiting for death in an unfulfilling life (crikey, how depressing! Sorry if that's not what it's meant to mean and I'm just getting a bit of misery unleashed here xP). And I guess being engrossed by the carrots could symbolise wasting your time on things that aren't important to you, procrastinating before tackling the bigger, more important part of your life - or soup!
Whooops, *ramble alert* xD
Anyway, this was wicked! I love you at your maddest moments! They're hilarious and wonderful!
